Author Event: Susan Lubner - "Drag and Rex: Forever Friends" in conversation with Anna Staniszewski

Susan Lubner, co-author of Noises at Night, joins us for the launch of her new picture book, Drag and Rex: Forever Friends, which Kirkus calls "a winning new series" in a starred review. Susan will be in conversation with Anna Staniszewski, author of Beast in Show and Dogosaurus Rex.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Susan Lubner is the author of the middle grade novels Lizzy and the Good Luck Girl and The Upside of Ordinary, as well as three picture books. Her Noises at Night, co-authored with Beth Glass, was featured on the Today Show as a “Best Book for Young Children.”

She grew up in Bangor, Maine, and currently lives in Massachusetts.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Born in Poland and raised in the United States, Anna Staniszewski grew up loving stories in both Polish and English. She was a Writer-in-Residence at the Boston Public Library and a winner of the Susan P. Bloom Discovery Award. Currently, Anna lives south of Boston with her family and teaches courses on writing and children’s literature at Simmons University. When she’s not writing, Anna spends her time reading, daydreaming, and challenging unicorns to games of hopscotch. She is the author of over twenty books for young readers, including the novels Clique Here and The Wonder of Wildflowers; the picture books Dogosaurus Rex and Beast in Show; and the Once Upon a Fairy Tale chapter book series.
