This is book number 1 in the A Thursday Murder Club Mystery series.
Considering this is a novel about murder, it may seem odd to call it the most charming and pleasant book I’ve read in the past few months. If you’re in the mood for a witty, lighthearted whodunnit that still has a robust mystery that will keep surprising you, you can’t do much better than this. Centering around four elderly amateur sleuths in a retirement village in the English countryside, it is a look at life and death in multiple senses.— From Geoff

THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB
In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet weekly in the Jigsaw Room to discuss unsolved crimes; together they call themselves the Thursday Murder Club.
When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case.
As the bodies begin to pile up, can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer, before it's too late?
